Documentation
How to get from an input to a finished output, and what to expect along the way.
Getting started
Sign in, then choose Convert, Transcribe, or Create from your dashboard. Upload a file or paste a supported link, pick the operation you want, and start the job. Large files upload directly to storage, so starting a job doesn't require keeping the tab open and waiting.
Convert
Convert works across five kinds of files:
- Video: format conversion, compression, resizing, cropping, rotation, trimming, merging, speed changes, GIF export, and audio extraction
- Audio: format conversion, compression, trimming, merging, normalization, speed changes, bitrate and sample rate changes
- Images: format conversion, compression, resizing
- Documents: PDF to images, images to PDF, PDF merge and split, and document conversion
- Archives: format conversion, creating a new archive from multiple files, and extracting an existing one
Subtitle files can also be converted between SRT, VTT, and SBV, or exported as plain text.
Transcribe
Transcribe accepts audio files, video files, voice recordings, and supported online video links, including YouTube where processing is permitted. Output includes optional timestamps, in TXT, SRT, VTT, JSON, Word, or PDF format.
Create
Create turns text into speech using an authorized voice. Voice cloning is available with a voice reference sample you've uploaded yourself, and requires explicit confirmation that you have authorization and consent to generate speech in that voice.
Job status
Every operation runs as a job with one of five states: queued, processing, completed, failed, or cancelled. You can follow progress from the job's page, and cancel a job that's still queued or processing.
Projects
Projects let you group related files and jobs together, useful if you're working through a batch of related material rather than a single standalone conversion.
